While Neeraj Chopra stole the spotlight at the NC Classic 2025, Julius Yego of Kenya claimed the silver medal with an impressive throw of 84.51 meters, while Rumesh Tharanga from Sri Lanka secured bronze with a close mark of 84.34 meters.

Neeraj's fellow Indian javelin thrower Sachin Yadav secured fourth place with a throw of 82.33 meters. Another Indian athlete, Yashveer Singh, finished in eighth position after recording a best attempt of 79.65 meters.

The tournament, jointly organized by JSW Sports, the Athletics Federation of India, and World Athletics, showcased some of the finest talents from across the globe. Notably, Kishore Jena, India’s silver medalist from the Asian Games 2023, missed the competition due to injury.
