In the run chase, even though RR got off to a good start, it was an incredible spell of bowling from the two left-arm spinners that brought SRH into the match and eventually laid the foundation of their victory.
Impact Player Shahbad Ahmed who had earlier scored a run-a-ball 18, returned to end up with figures of 3/23. Abhishek Sharma finished with figures of 2/24 off his 4 overs, performances that broke the spine of RR's batting.

SRH will now meet Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2024 final in Chennai on Sunday (May 26), in a rematch of the Qualifier 1 where the same two teams had met after finishing in the top two of the league stage in the seventeenth edition of the competition.
Heinrich Klaasen Top Scored For SRH With 34-Ball 50
For SRH, it was Klaasen who was the best performer with the bat, making 50 off 34 deliveries. Other significant contributors were Rahul Tripathi (37 off 15) and Travis Head who made 34 off 28. Rajasthan would not have mind that score in the first half and for them it was Avesh Khan (3/27) and Avesh Khan (2/25) that were the stand out performers with the ball. Trent Boult too picked 3 wickets, conceding 45 runs off his 4 overs.

Against the left-arm spin duo though, RR's middle-order did not have many answers which cost them the game. Dhruv Jurel's unbeaten 56 off 35 went in vain after Yashasvi Jaiswal's quickfire 42 off 21 had set a good base for the chase.
