Sheeba Akashdeep Reveals Why She Stopped Speaking To Saif Ali Khan
The 90s actress and TV star Sheeba Akashdeep has opened up about her fallout with Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan.
New Delhi: Actress and TV personality Sheeba Akashdeep, who was popular in the 1990s, recently talked about a devastating experience she had with Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. Saif and his ex-wife Amrita Singh were formerly neighbours and friends of Sheeba until a terrible event involving their dogs damaged their relationship.
Sheeba disclosed the painful memory in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, explaining, "Toh hua yeh ki hum dost the, hum neighbours bhi the, same bungalow complex mein rehte the and issi doraan hua yeh ki unke dog ne mere dog ko maar diya galti se. Mera itna dil tut gaya and you are also very volatile at that time (So, what happened was that we were friends; we were also neighbours, living in the same bungalow complex. And during this time, his dog accidentally killed my dog. My heart broke so much, and you are also very volatile at that time)."

She added, “But uss time aesa dil tut gaya tha ki mein wo ghar bhi bech ke nikal gayi uss complex se immediately. Overnight I walked off. I said I can’t live here anymore. Wo mera favorite dog tha. So that’s kind of we lost touch." (But at that time, my heart was so shattered that I sold the house and left the complex immediately. Overnight, I walked off. I said I can’t live here anymore. He was my favourite dog. So that’s kind of how we lost touch).
Sheeba said that she and Saif had a total communication breakdown after the devastating death of her pet. According to Sheeba, she was unable to forgive Saif due to the immense pain she felt at the loss of her pet, even though Saif made genuine efforts to apologise.
The actress shared, “A couple of times after that, when he met, he told my husband, ‘kya wo kabhi forgive nahi karegi kya?’ (A couple of times after that, when he met my husband, he asked, ‘Will she never forgive me?’).
Saif Ali Khan and Sheeba Akashdeep had previously worked together in the 1995 film 'Surakshaa'.
