IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap Holders After SRH vs RCB IPL Match

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Here's the updated IPL 2024 points table, highest run-getters and wicket-takers list of the IPL 2024 after the SRH vs RCB match in Hyderabad on April 25.

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange & Purple Cap: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 on April 25 (Thursday) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. RCB finally managed to add two points to their tally in the IPL 2024 after a series of losses. They were on a 6-match losing streak before they won the game against SRH.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, RCB posted the total of 206-7 in 20 overs. Rajat Patidar’s 20-ball fifty and Camero Green’s  late-innings surge with 37 runs off 20 balls helped them surpass the 200-run mark. In reply, SRH faced a rare failure in form of Travis Head departing for just one run in the very first over bowled by Will Jacks. From there on, SRH failed to gain any momentum and despite Pat Cummins quickfire cameo and Shahbaz Ahmed’s 40-run knock, they finished on 171-8 in 20 overs and lost the match by 35 runs.

Despite the win, RCB remain at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table and SRH, despite the loss, remain on the third position.
