IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange & Purple Cap: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) attained a convincing four-wicket win over Gujarat Titans (GT) in RCB vs GT IPL 2024 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday (May 4).
Chasing 147 for the win, openers Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis laid a solid foundation for RCB with their aggressive batting, setting the tone for the innings. Despite a brief stumble where RCB lost six wickets rapidly, Dinesh Karthik's explosive innings of 21 runs off just 12 balls ensured a swift chase, with the team reaching the target of 147 runs in less than 14 overs.
Both RCB and GT, mathematically, still remain alive in the race to IPL 2024 Playoffs.
