IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Check below updated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 points table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap list after the RCB vs CSK IPL 2024 match on May 18.

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 27 runs in the 68th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and became the fourth team to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs on May 18 (Saturday). RCB have now won six matches on the trot in this season after they experienced a horrid start as they had only one win in their eight games. RCB are not at the fourth position in the IPL 2024 points table with the Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.459.

Going into the RCB vs CSK IPL 2024 match, Bengaluru had to defeat Chennai by the margin of 17 runs or more to pip them down by the NRR. A win or even a loss by less than 17 runs for CSK would have meant a playoffs spot for the Yellow Army. However, it was not meant to be. RCB join Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad as the teams who have qualified for the playoffs of the IPL 2024.
