A viral video reportedly from the Wankhede Stadium has captured a heated clash between two groups of fans who were supporters of different teams. A fan was seen shouting and then coming to beat an LSG fan after which a heated clash erupted in the Mumbai Stadium.

Although ABP Live could not independently verify the video, it appears to be from the MI vs LSG match which was played on May 17 (Friday).

LSG, MI Fail To Proceed To IPL 2024 Playoffs
Notably, both LSG and MI failed to proceed to the IPL 2024 Playoffs. MI succumbed to an 18-run defeat and are set to finish 10th on the IPL 2024 points table with all the other teams, already having more points than then. LSG, meanwhile, finished with 14 points from 14 matches but their inferior net run rate (NRR) has already ruled them out of a place in the IPL 2024 Playoffs.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are the three teams that have already sealed a place in the IPL 2024 Points Table with the fourth place set to be occupied by either Chennai Super Kings (CSK) or Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
