He generated many conversations after the 27-year-old asked for his absence from the remainder of the India vs England series, after having played the first two Tests.

Now, he has announced his return to the active form of cricket after the wedding break as he posted a video on Twitter. Part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad in the IPL 2021, Bumrah, is currently serving under 7-day mandatory quarantine ahead of joining his squad.

In the video posted on Twitter with the caption "quarantining and getting those reps in", he was seen lifting weights.

Meanwhile, MI captain Rohit Sharma, swashbuckling all-rounder Hardik Pandya, his brother Krunal Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav joined the squad at the team hotel on Monday. The four players were part of the ODI series against England, which India won 2-1.
