'Bowling Is More....': Mohammed Siraj's Straightforward Take On Death Over Bowling

Mohammed Siraj has been dominating the 2023 edition of the IPL with his fine bowling performances. According to him, death bowling is more interesting though he has been taking more wickets in the powerplay overs. Siraj while speaking on the RCB Insider show said, “Death over bowling is more entertaining than powerplay. Everyone comes prepared to smack the bowler, so more challenging.”
“Season going well. I’m focused on my fitness. Can consistently bowl in same areas.”
The RCB bowlers also spoke about his experience of bowling in England and at Lord’s. He said, “In India Test matches are not valued so much, they only want entertainment. There in England, people arrive early, carry individual scorecard to keep score. Lord’s has a box where only suited folk are allowed.”
“Maxwell is irritating. When I bowl, he keeps coming and giving me suggestions so that irritates me. Why ruin my preparation”, stated Siraj after being asked about Maxwell.
“First time I’m wearing a purple cap. First year I was in Sunrisers Hyderabad I saw a teammate wearing it, so I had wished to wear it. Now I’m happy.”
The Hyderabad-based bowler revealed why people call him Miya Magic. “First time I got selected to the Indian team so everyone would call me Miya Miya, so AB de Villiers called me Magic for a fiery spell against KKR in Abu Dhabi. So Miya Magic,” said the Hyderabadi.
Earlier, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were involved in a verbal spat after Royal Challengers Bangalore outplayed Lucknow Super Giants on Monday at Lucknow's Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
