IPL 2020: Rashid Khan Knocked Down In Nasty Collision, Mitchell Marsh Twists Ankle During RCB Vs SRH Match On Monday

IPL 2020: Sunrisers Hyderabad Team quite literally suffered some major blows the match in their IPL opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday in Dubai, after Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and Afghan spinner Rashid Khan were injured. The team had a 10-run loss to RCB.
28 year old Marsh suffered a major injury to the ankle while bowling during his side. He had bowled only four deliveries. He was seen hobbling and the over was then completed by Vijay Shankar. Marsh has had a history of injuries in the past and he has even missed number of editions of IPL due to this

After his injury, he did not come back to the field during the rest of the RCB innings.
Later spinner Rashid Khan also accidentally clashed into Abhishek Sharma in the 17th over. Both players had started for a run but were watching the ball and crashed into each other. The medical staff was also called after Khan lay on the ground. Despite the injury, Khan kept playing and finished the over.
Though some brilliant once came from Abhishek Sharma, the overall performance of the team remained low.
Virat Kohli on the other hand helped Royal Challengers Bangalore register their first win in the Indian Premier League. RCB started to pave their way for the first victory with a tremendous start put up by openers Padikkal and Finch who continued their partnership and the duo added 90 for the first wicket.
Padikkal stood out as a fire opener as he first forced Bhuvneshwar and Sandeep to shorten their lengths to offer him a swing, and then he took on T Natarajan to earn good on the cards.
