The cricketing gears used by former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni have been creating a huge buzz in the ongoing World Cup. After the ‘Balidaan Badge’ [logo on his wicketkeeping gloves] episode, the stickers on his bats have drawn the viewers crazy. Most of the people would relate Dhoni with his 'Reebok' or 'Spartan' bat. However, the ace Indian stumper has been seen playing with at least three different bat stickers in the ongoing tournament. World Cup 2019: Here's why MS Dhoni has been using 3 different bat logos In the last two matches against England and Bangladesh, Dhoni was seen coming at the crease with a bat having the SG logo. However, in the later parts of his innings, Dhoni switched back to the BAS logo bat when he was required to go for some big hits. Going into the depth of the matter, Dhoni’s manager Arun Pandey, told Mumbai Mirror that it’s just a goodwill gesture and nothing else. “It’s a fact that he has been using different bats with different brandings, but he is not charging them. He wants to say thanks to them for helping in various stages of his career,” Pandey was quoted as saying. “Dhoni has a big heart. He does not need money, he has enough of it, he is using those bats as a goodwill gesture. BAS was with him from the beginning and SG also was very helpful to him,” he added. Usually, Dhoni charges around Rs 10-15 lakh per match for playing with a particular logo. Dhoni currently doesn’t have a bat sponsor as his deal with Australia-based Spartan Sports has run into legal trouble.
