'With Team India': Sanju Samson's Post During Squad's Net Session In Kerala Is A Hit Among Netizens

During a warm-up game against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where India's team was training, a large poster of Samson was prominently displayed.

Sanju Samson's recent post on his Instagram handle has stirred discussions among fans and experts, mainly because he was excluded from India's Cricket World Cup 2023 squad. Initially, he was part of the Asia Cup 2023 squad but didn't get any chance to play and had to make his way back to home before the final game against Sri Lanka. During a warm-up game against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where India's team was training, a large poster of Samson was prominently displayed.

The Kerela-based cricketer Samson shared a photo of this moment on his social media accounts and expressed his feelings for his teammates, captioning it with, "With Team India @ Gods own country !!"

India's star cricketers had to travel a long distance, covering 3,400 kilometers, for a World Cup warm-up match, only to have it canceled due to heavy rain. This happened in Thiruvananthapuram, where they were supposed to play against the Netherlands. Additionally, their scheduled game against defending champions England in Guwahati was also washed out due to heavy rain. To date, three warm-up matches have been completely abandoned due to rain, and three others have been affected by it, causing frustration for teams and players just before the tournament's start on Thursday.

The Netherlands also faced two severe washouts, including their match against Australia in Thiruvananthapuram, which ended without a result due to rain interrupting their chase after 14.2 overs.

However, there is a more positive weather forecast for the coming week in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Dharamsala, where the first three days of the tournament are scheduled, with expected sunshine which certainly bodes well for all the cricket fans around the globe.
