WATCH: Shikhar Dhawan’s ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ Stuns Yuvraj Singh
Dhawan posted a video of himself batting in the National Cricket Academy nets in Bengaluru
The biggest injury blow that the Indian team received in the ongoing World Cup 2019 was the news of opener Shikhar Dhawan getting ruled out of the tournament due to a fractured thumb. After being forced out, an emotional Dhawan had tweeted that the "show must go on" without him at the ongoing World Cup.
Still recovering from the injury, Dhawan posted a video of himself batting in the National Cricket Academy nets in Bengaluru. The unique thing about the Southpaw’s return was that it was not the net bowlers he was facing, instead, he performed the modified version of the ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ challenge which was earlier performed by former India batsman Yuvraj Singh.

Meanwhile, the panel of selectors would now focus on the team’s next mission. MSK Prasad and team are scheduled to meet on to pick the Indian cricket squads for the upcoming tour of West Indies which begins on August 3. It's expected that skipper Virat Kohli's availability and veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni's future will be some of the hardcore issues which are to be discussed.
