WATCH: Babar Azam's Hilarious Response To Journalist's Question On When He Will Get Married

Babar Azam was in a jovial mood when he was asked this question.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam gave a hilarious response to a question asking about his marriage plans. The question came his way as several key members of the senior Pakistan men's cricket team helmed by Babar himself like Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi and Shan Masood have all tied the knot in recent months.

That has led many fans to wonder when the skipper get married and the same question was asked to the 28-year-old during a press conference in which the Peshwar Zalmi star looked in a jovial mood.

"You are the captain. All of your players are getting married, and you are greying. When do you planning to get married?", the media personnel asked.

To this, Babar gave a hilarious response. He said: "Safed age ki wajah se nahi, shuru se hai safed. Yeh nahi ki shaadi ke liye ho rahi hai. Dekhiye, jab time aayega tab ho jaayega. Time ka wait main bhi kar raha hu, aap bhi karein" (My hair is getting grey not because of age, they have always been like that. I will get married when the time comes. I am also waiting for that time and you should too).

Meanwhile, Babar is currently one of the leading run-scorers in the Pakistan Super League this season, having scored 171 runs from 4 innings at an average of 57.00 and a strike rate of over 131. The right-handed batter has accumulated these runs with the help of 18 fours and two sixes.

His team Peshawar Zalmi though are currently placed fourth on the points table with two wins and two defeats in four matches. Multan Sultans are currently the table toppers and have won each of their next four matches after a narrow defeat in their campaign opener. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars occupy the second and the third place on the table respectively.
