New Delhi: Mumbai Indians secured victory from the jaws of defeat in a nail-biting encounter to lift the IPL 10 title at the Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Mumbai Indians’ bowlers held their nerves to defend a modest total of 130 runs and emboss their name on the coveted trophy for the third time, making them the successful team in IPL history.

Having decide to set total on the board after winning the crucial toss, the Rohit Sharma led side endured batting collapse and half of the team was back in the pavilion for just 65 runs.

With RPS bowlers running through MI batting order, it left their skipper disappointed and Rohit was seen taking a nap. But, he had to wake up after Shardul Thakur stormed to run out Karn Sharma, which led to heavy cheers from the players and the spectators.

However, it was Rohit Sharma who had the last laugh; the MI skipper became the only cricketer in IPL history to win the coveted Trophy 4 times. The 30-year-old has won it 3 times as MI captain and one has a player with Deccan Chargers.
