VIDEO: Gayle pulls out the 'Salt Bae' celebration

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore registered stunning victory over Gujarat Lions at Rajkot on Tuesday. Chris Gayle fired 77 runs off 38 deliveries to help Royal Challengers cross 200-run mark.


Gayle, who became the first cricketer to score 10,000 runs in T20 format on Tuesday, celebrated his fifty against Gujarat Lions by doing a ‘salt bae’ celebration.  Gayle smashed a six of Shivil Kaushik to complete his first fifty of IPL 2017 and went on his knees on sprinkle some imaginary salt on his bat.


For those who couldn’t understand what Gayle meant by that celebration, here is the explaination. The 37-year-old replicated the salt sprinkling move which was done by a Turkish Chef Nurset Gokce. A video of the chef doing that particular move went viral on Instagram and had 5 million viewers.
