For Strikers, Henry Thornton starred with the ball as he took five wickets for only three runs.

In the Big Bash League, Sydney Thunder were bowled out against Adelaide Strikers for just 15 runs in a shocking style on Friday. They registered the lowest score ever seen in a men's professional T20 cricket match.

They were chasing an easy total of 140 and five Thunder's players failed to trouble the scorers. Pacer Brendon Doggett was the top scorer with four runs. For Strikers, Henry Thornton starred with the ball as he took five wickets for only three runs. Moments after, several memes went viral on Twitter.

As per the record, previously the lowest BBL score was 57 recorded by Melbourne Renegades in 2015 while Turkey scored 21 against the Czech Republic in 2019 and that was the lowest overall.
