Rishabh Pant Tags Mark Zuckerberg In His First Post On Threads. Here's What He Said

Rishabh Pant has over 300k followers on Threads, the newly launched app by Instagram.

Rishabh Pant, India's wicketkeeper-batter, is an active user of social media. Not only has he been updating his fans about his health and recovery ever since he began his rehabilitation. Notably, Pant survived a serious car crash in December last year and is continues to recover at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

Utilising his time off from competitive cricket action, Pant has increased his social media presence and even made his debut on Threads, the newly launched app by Instagram. Pant's has also managed to bag a handsome amount of followers on the brand-new social media app which is a direct rival of the microblogging website Twitter.

In his first post on Threat, he tagged Mark Zuckerberg, the chief of Meta which owns Thread. He wrote: "Let’s create a thread for everyone to join in a welcoming way  and see . That includes @zuck 😊😊 . And get as many people as possible in a same thread . We all can welcome on same thread. Let’s try this public and respected people 💕💕 make it a big one."

Meanwhile, Pant has already missed quite a few crucial series in the aftermath of his accident. He is still some time away from being cent per cent match fit and is likely to miss even Asia Cup as well as the ODI World Cup despite reports of him making a speedy recovery. Pant even missed IPL 2023. The southpaw is the designated captain of his franchise Delhi Capitals (DC). However, in his absence David Warner was trusted with the leadership responsibility this season but the side failed to qualify for the Playoffs after a nightmarish start to their campaign. They eventually finished ninth on the points table with five wins from 14 matches. Only Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) had a worse season with just four wins. Pant is likely to be back as the captain next season.
