PAK vs BAN | Mohammad Rizwan Achieves Unique Milestone: Only Wicket-Keeper Batsman To Score...

Over the last five years, Mohammad Rizwan has become the top run-scorer among wicketkeeper-batsmen across all formats.

Pakistan's cricket team is facing ongoing challenges in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, having lost the first test and now at risk of losing the second and the series.

Amidst these struggles, star wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has reached a notable milestone. Over the last five years, Rizwan has become the top run-scorer among wicketkeeper-batsmen across all formats, surpassing well-known players such as Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock, Rishabh Pant, and Kusal Mendis.

In the last five years, Mohammad Rizwan has played 154 innings across all formats, scoring 6,012 runs and reaching fifty runs in an innings 50 times. In comparison, Quinton de Kock has scored 4,453 runs in 118 innings, while Jos Buttler has amassed 4,055 runs in 127 innings across all formats during the same period.

Over the past five years, India's Rishabh Pant has scored 3,066 runs in 104 innings, and Kusal Mendis has accumulated 2,905 runs in 94 innings.

Mohammad Rizwan is notable as the only wicketkeeper-batsman to have scored 6,000 runs in international cricket during this period (last five years).

In the second Test match, Mohammad Rizwan scored 43 runs in Pakistan's first innings and 29 runs in the second innings.

Bangladesh's 10-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test is a historic achievement, marking the first time Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan by this margin in Test cricket. With their impressive performance, Bangladesh now seems well-positioned to potentially win the Test series 2-0.
