Max Verstappen Red Bull Contract: Max Verstappen has committed his Formula 1 future to Red Bull until the end of the 2030 season, ending months of speculation over a possible move to rivals such as Mercedes and McLaren. While Red Bull has confirmed the extension, the financial details of the deal have not been officially disclosed.

However, F1 business journalist Marc Limacher has reported eye-catching figures for Verstappen's new contract, with the Dutchman potentially earning more than Rs 1,000 crore per season.

Verstappen Reportedly Set For Rs 1,018 Crore Annual Salary

According to Limacher, Verstappen will receive a reported EUR 92 million per year from 2027 onwards as part of the new Red Bull agreement.

Using an exchange rate of around Rs 110.60 per euro, that works out to approximately Rs 1,018 crore per year. The figure represents the reported annual salary before performance-related bonuses.

Limacher further claims that bonuses could push Verstappen's earnings to EUR 115 million per season, equivalent to roughly Rs 1,272 crore at the same exchange rate.

The reported numbers should be treated as claims rather than confirmed contract figures, as neither Red Bull nor Verstappen has publicly released the financial terms of the agreement.

Max Verstappen's Deal Could Cross Rs 5,000 Crore

Limacher has also reported that the overall value of Verstappen's agreement could reach EUR 460 million.

At the same exchange rate, that is approximately Rs 5,088 crore.

The reported figure covers the four seasons from 2027 through 2030 and assumes the maximum annual earnings figure of EUR 115 million is reached each year.

Red Bull officially confirmed on August 20 that Verstappen will remain with the team through the end of 2030. The extension came after months of speculation surrounding his future, with his previous contract running until 2028 and performance-related clauses fuelling uncertainty over a potential early exit.

Verstappen, a four-time world champion, joined Red Bull's junior programme in 2014 and has spent his entire F1 career with the organisation. He said the team feels like a "second family" and expressed his desire to continue the journey with Red Bull.

Note: The rupee conversions are approximate and based on an EUR/INR rate of Rs 110.60. The reported contract figures themselves remain unconfirmed.
