Remarkably, Jaiswal's first double-ton came in the previous match (2nd Test) in Visakhapatnam. With this achievement, the promising cricketer now boasts three 150-plus scores in his initial 13 Test innings for India, setting impressive records along the way.
After reaching his century on Day 3, Jaiswal was forced to retire hurt due to back spasms. However, he returned to bat on Day 4 after Gill's dismissal on 91. Resuming at 104, Jaiswal continued his stellar performance. He forged a century stand with Sarfaraz and eventually achieved another remarkable double-century.
