Arjun Tendulkar gets a new job at Lord's!

As the rain kept on playing hide and seek during the 2nd Test on Friday, Arjun assisted the ground staff in rolling down the covers

Arjun Tendulkar has been spending time with Kohli and Co. whenever Team India travels to England. Last year he helped the Indian batters at the nets during the Champions trophy, this time he was spotted bowling again at the training session ahead of the Lord’s Test.

India having no left-arm medium pacer in their 18-member squad, the team management decided to make full use of Sachin’s son to help the Indian top order get used to the left-arm over angle.

After helping the Indian players, Arjun came out to lend helping hand to ground staff at the home of cricket. As the rain kept on playing hide and seek during the 2nd Test on Friday, Arjun assisted the ground staff in rolling down the covers.

Lord’s Cricket Ground took to their official Twitter handle to applaud his efforts.

Arjun recently featured in the Indian U-19 team for the Youth Test against Sri Lanka. He ended up with figures of 1/33 and 1/32 besides scoring a duck.

In the second game, he scored 14 runs and bowled spells of 0 /33 and 1/39 in two innings.
