The intense T20 World Cup 2024 encounter between Bangladesh and Nepal in what was match number 37 of the competition witnessed a controversial moment. In an act that has also been captured on camera, Bangladesh player Jaker Ali seemingly appeared looking at their dugout before helping his batting Tanzim Hasan Shakib take a late review. The Nepal leg spinner's ball hit Lamichhane on the pads. There was a huge appeal and the umpire raised his finger to rule the batter out. However, as the batter was walking back towards the dressing room, non-striker Jaker Ali was caught on the camera seemingly asking the dressing room for help.
