Rekha Gupta Named Delhi CM, Parvesh Verma Likely To Be Her Deputy. Oath-Taking Tomorrow
The chief minister will take the oath along with the council of ministers at the Ramlila Maidan, which can accommodate 30,000 people.

Delhi Chief Minister: Rekha Gupta will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi succeeding Aam Aadmi Party's Atishi as BJP returns to power in Delhi after more than 26 years by sweeping the February 5 Assembly polls while Parvesh Verma is likely to be her deputy, according to sources.
Rekha Gupta, who will be the lone woman chief minister among the states being currently ruled by Bharatiya Janata Party, won the Delhi polls from Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency while Parvesh Verma earned the title of 'giant killer' after defeating Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi assembly seat. Name of both the leaders were announced during the BJP's legislature party meeting in the national capital on Wednesday.
The saffron party ended the decade-long rule of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by winning 48 seats in the 70-member House. The Aam Aadmi Party managed to win only 22 seats and lost key seats including Arvind Kejriwal's New Delhi constituency and Manish Sisodia's Jangpura.
With the CM's name being finalised a grand oath ceremony will be held around noon at the Ramlila Maidan on Thursday. The ceremony is likely to be attended by top BJP leaders, including chief ministers from the party-ruled states, and many celebrities.
Visuals on social media showed the Ramlila Maidan being spruced up and its boundary walls getting a fresh coat of paint.
