Arjun Kapoor Says His Ideal Relationship Is 'Someone To Share Silences' After Malaika Arora Split

Arjun Kapoor, who is busy promoting 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi', has shared his thoughts on love and relationships following his split from Malaika Arora.

New Delhi: Arjun Kapoor, with Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, has been heavily promoting 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi' as the film approaches its release. With all the talk over his separation from Malaika Arora, Arjun has lately opened up about his views on relationships, giving fans a taste of his philosophy on love.

Arjun discussed his relationship ideals with News 18, highlighting the need for understanding and maintaining a balanced viewpoint. "What I want from love today is someone to share my silences with and that’s very important. Even if you’re in two different spaces, you can still be connected without having to speak all the time. The idea is to share things without even realising it," he remarked, adding that he is now seeking someone to spend moments of silence with.

The actor continued by saying that a relationship's comfort and mutual understanding are crucial, especially when it comes to each partner's work obligations.

Arjun said, “There has to be comfort and ease. You should’ve to look forward to going back and spending time with your person after finishing the day. Love doesn’t mean staying together with the person all the time. You should be wanting to genuinely building your life with them. It’s necessary for two people to understand each other’s professions too."

The actor revealed his split from Malaika Arora months ago.  In 2018, they started dating and often appeared together at social gatherings. During the promotion of 'Singham Again' in 2024, Arjun publicly acknowledged his single status, saying, "Nahi, abhi single hoon."
