In the last decade, Smith has emerged as the most effective batsman for his national team in international cricket. The highly unorthodox but effective Smith is considered as one of the modern-day stalwarts in international cricket.

Indian cricket team will take on Australia in their scheduled tour 'Down Under' later this year as team Australia will be much more confident this time due to inclusion of Smith and David Warner in their squad when they take on Kohli & Co.

Former India skipper Rahul Dravid feels India will face a stiff challenge in their Test tour of Australia later this year.

"Missing Smith and Warner was a huge thing for Australia because of the impact they have on that team. They are their (Australia's) top two batsman, they scored the most number of runs for them," Dravid said on 'Sony Ten Pit Stop' show aired on the channel's Facebook page.
