Aliens Walking Among Humans? Harvard Research Says 'Advanced Beings' Could Be Secretly Living On Earth
The Harvard study also explores the idea that UFOs could be spaceships used by aliens for visiting their Earth-based friends, that may be living secretly among humans.
The possibility of extraterrestrial life such as aliens is a topic that has drawn significant attention from humans due to the mounting fascination that stems from the likelihood of their existence, and the eagerness to know whether or not we are alone in this mammoth universe. Although we still do not have a concrete answer to whether or not extraterrestrial creatures exist, a Harvard University study conducted under its Human Flourishing Program, claimed that "advanced beings" could actually be secretly living among us on Earth.
The study by researchers at Harvard University, led by Dr. Emily Roberts, suggested that ''unidentified anomalous phenomena'' (UAP), more commonly referred to as UFOs and extraterrestrial beings, could be living on moon, underground, or could even be walking among humans.
The research also explores the idea that UFOs, or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and suggetss that these could be spaceships used for visiting Earth-based alien friends.
Calling the hypothesis of the study "ultraterrestrial", the paper stated: "There is also a third minority class of hypothesis: an unconventional terrestrial explanation, outside the prevailing consensus view of the universe. This is the ultraterrestrial hypothesis, which includes as a subset the "cryptoterrestrial" hypothesis, namely the notion that Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena may reflect activities of intelligent beings concealed in stealth here on Earth (e.g., underground), and/or its near environs (e.g., the moon), and/or even "walking among us" (e.g., passing as humans)."
The study also further investigated the concept of "cryptoterrestrials'', calling them beings, who might have originated from Earth's future or descending from intelligent dinosaurs, living among us disguised as humans.
"We examined a wide range of evidence, from archaeological findings to modern-day UAP reports," Dr. Roberts stated, adding "While some accounts may seem fantastical, they offer valuable insights into human perception and cultural beliefs."
During their research, the team also explored the concept of cryptoterrestrial beings allegedly inhabiting the underground or underwater bases.
Four Types Of Cryptoterrestrials
CTH1: Human Cryptoterrestrials.
A technologically advanced ancient human civilisation that was largely destroyed long ago in floods (for e.g), but continued to exist in remnant form.
CTH2: Hominid or Theropod Cryptoterrestrials.
A technologically advanced non-human civilization consisting of some terrestrial animal, which evolved to live in stealth (e.g., underground). These could also be an alternative species that is much more distantly related to us such as descendants of "unknown, intelligent dinosaurs".
CTH3: Former Extraterrestrial or Extratempestrial Cryptoterrestrials.
Extraterrestrial aliens are beings who are our intertemporal descendants who "arrived" on Earth from elsewhere in the cosmos. They can also be from the human future, and concealed themselves in stealth, such as in the Moon.
CTH4: Magical Cryptoterrestrials.
These entities which are less like homegrown aliens and are rather more like earthbound angels. They relate to the world inhabited by humans in ways that are less technological than magical. These entities are known in European languages by names such as "elves, fairies, nymphs," etc.
'Approach These Theories With Healthy Dose Of Skepticism'
"While many of these claims lack empirical evidence, they highlight humanity’s fascination with the unknown and the possibility of hidden realms," Dr. Roberts stated.
The researchers also highlighted the need to carry out rigorous scientific scrutiny and empirical validation.
"We must approach these theories with caution and a healthy dose of skepticism," Dr. Roberts said, adding "While they may spark curiosity and imagination, scientific inquiry demands evidence-based explanations."
"Although this idea is likely to be regarded sceptically by most scientists, such are the nature of some UAP that we argue this possibility should not be summarily dismissed, and instead deserves genuine consideration in a spirit of epistemic humility and openness," the research paper noted.
