- Start the puja by chanting Ganesha mantras.
- Offer flowers, incense, sandalwood, sweets, fruits, and betel leaves to the deity. Prepare Modaks, Ganesha’s favorite sweet, as an offering.
- Chant mantras such as "Om Siddhivinayakaya Namah" or "Om Gan Ganapataye Namah" 108 times.
- Light a diya and incense sticks, recite Ganesha’s stories, and perform the aarti.
