WORLD RECORD: Ashwin fastest to reach 25 five-wicket haul

Ashwin took just 47 matches to reach 25 5-wicket haul in an innings while former New Zealand fast bowler Richard Headley did the same in 62 Test matches (111 innings).

Ashwin has also left legendary Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralidharan behind. Muralidharan took 100 innings to get his 25th 5-wicket haul.
