After India's triumph in the 5th Test against England, they have secured 122 rating points in the ICC Men's Test team rankings, maintaining a five-point lead over Australia, who stand second. England, with 111 rating points, holds the third position in the rankings.

According to a report on the ICC's website, India's top position in the ICC Men's Test team rankings remains unaffected regardless of the outcome of the New Zealand vs Australia Test in Christchurch. Australia currently leads the two-match Test series 1-0.

India has now secured the coveted number one position in the ICC rankings across all three formats of the game.

India currently holds 121 rating points in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 266 rating points in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), 122 rating points in Tests.

India held the prestigious top spot in the ICC rankings across all formats from September 2023 to January 2024. However, following a 1-1 draw against South Africa, they slipped to the second position in the Test rankings.

In addition to leading the ICC team rankings across all three formats, India also sits comfortably at the top of the World Test Championship table, boasting a remarkable points percentage of 68.51.
