Ravichandran Ashwin's performance in Test cricket in recent years has been highly impressive. He is the highest wicket-taker among the bowlers who have played at least 25 Tests since 2015. During this time, he has taken 260 wickets in 50 Tests. Australian spinner Nathan Lyon is right behind him in this list, who has 257 wickets in 60 Tests.

Apart from this, Ashwin also made a special record. He has now become the third Indian bowler to take the highest wickets in Test cricket against Australia. By doing this, Ashwin has broken Kapil Dev's record. Kapil Dev took 79 wickets against Australia in Test cricket. Ashwin has so far taken 80 wickets in Test cricket against Australia so far.
