Among the standout performers was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who stole the spotlight with a remarkable batting display throughout the series.

Vaibhav amassed 355 runs in the series at a staggering average of 71 and a strike rate of 174.01, making him the top run-scorer across both sides. With this feat, he surpassed the previous record held by current Indian Test captain Shubman Gill, who had scored 351 runs in the Youth ODI series against England back in 2017.

This level of aggression is reminiscent of his explosive performances for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, where he had already etched his name in the books as the second-fastest century scorer in IPL history.

With the spotlight firmly on him, all eyes will now be on Vaibhav as India gears up for the two Youth Test matches against England, beginning July 12. If his recent form is anything to go by, Indian cricket might just be witnessing the rise of its next big star.
