Monsoon hit Mumbai, and Delhi together for the first time after almost six decades on Sunday. While it brought respite to people from the scorching heat, heavy rainfall also led to waterlogging in different cities. (Source: ANI)

A building collapsed due to heavy rains on Monday morning in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar. The search and rescue operation has been completed. Officials have also recovered the bodies of the two missing people from the debris. In the last 24 hours, Mumbai city received 31 mm of rainfall, and moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur in the city and suburbs with a possibility of occasional intense spells, as per the BMC.
