Auto Expo 2020: Vitara Brezza Petrol And Ignis Facelift

The Vitara Brezza has been a hot seller for Maruti but with new competition coming in there was a need for a facelift along with a petrol engine. Finally, Maruti has introduced Brezza with a petrol engine. Apart from petrol engine, there is a new updated Ignis as well. The new Brezza has got a makeover in form of a facelift with its new look being similar to the international Vitara SUV. The new Brezza sports a different chin with wider airdam along with a prominent skid plate.

The new Brezza is diesel free as revealed by Maruti. There will be no AMT too.

In terms of interiors, the whole design is largely the same but there is an updated SmartPlay infotainment system.

Another big news is the BS6 1.5L petrol engine now being the only motor in the Brezza line-up. It makes bhp and also gets a 4-speed auto along with a 5-speed manual.

The new Brezza looks similar from sides however it has new alloys which are a lot more premium looking while the rear is also mildly reworked with new LED Tail-lamps plus a tweaked design.
