Dilip Kumar Funeral: Big B, Abhishek Bachchan & Other Celebs Pay Last Respect To Bollywood's 'Tragedy King'

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan attended the last rites of Dilip Kumar at Juhu's cemetery in Mumbai on Wednesday (July 7) evening. Dilip Kumar, who was battling health issues, left for his heavenly abode on Wednesday morning.

Amitabh Bachchan arrived with his son Abhishek to pay their last respect to the 'Naya Daur' actor, who passed away at the age of 98. The thespian was accorded a funeral with full state honours.

Earlier in the day, Amitabh Bachchan shared a post on social media to mourn Dilip Kumar's demise. The duo had shared screen-space for the first and only time in Ramesh Sippy's 'Shakti'.

Big B wrote, "My idol Dilip Saheb .. lost .. never before never after .. “an epic era has drawn curtains .. never to happen again “ Peace and duas."

Filmmaker-actor Nikhil Dwivedi also attended the last rites of Dilip Kumar in Mumbai.

Dilip Kumar's family members comforted Saira Banu as she attended her husband's funeral. Earlier in the day, Shah Rukh Khan consoled a grieving Saira Banu at her residence.
