Sushant Singh Rajput's journey from TV serials to the film Industry is an inspiration to many and his career graph has been totally commendable

He made his acting debut with Ekta Kapoor show, Kis Desh Mein Hain Meraa Dil. While he played the brother to the protagonist, he was on his way to making it big.

Sushant was a trained dancer and was mentored by Shiamak Davar. He had left engineering in the third year and joined Shiamak Davar's dance academy in Mumbai

Sushant had come to the film industry with no Bollywood connection but still managed to make a place for himself

In 2013, Sushant did the role of Ishaan Bhatt in his debut film Kai Po Che. The actor managed to win hearts with his portrayal of the character and it was overwhelming.

In the same year, Sushant went on to do one of the sweetest films there has been, Shuddh Desi Romance. The movie co-starrer Parineeti Chopra.

Later, Sushant Singh Rajput was a part of Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma’s film PK, but it was a brief role. Post his stint in the movie, he did Byomkesh Bakshy in 2015, and with this movie, he impressed the audiences once again.

It was in 2016 that Sushant did one of his finest films ever, M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story. With this movie, we rediscovered Sushant as an actor and then there was Disha Patani, who won hearts. The movie continues to be the finest, more primarily for Rajpur’s acting chops and his portrayal of the cricketer.

In 2017, Sushant did Raabta with Kriti Sanon, and while the movie did not do very well, it sure had the finest music. Later in 2018, the actor paired up with Sara Ali Khan for her debut, Kedarnath.

Sushant Singh Rajput did Sonchiriya, and once again, he took upon himself to prove his acting chops as he played a dacoit. This movie saw the actor kind of resurrect himself as a star, once again. Co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Manoj Bajpayee, Sonchiriya has been a fine watch. (ALL PICS: Instagram)
