Hero Reveals New Electric Scooter Vida V1 — Check Price & Specs

Hero has revealed the Vida electric brand and the first product is called Vida V1.

The Vida V1 has features including smartphone connectivity including navigation or even booking for charging. There are two variants- Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 PLus with a top-speed of 80kmph. Acceleration from 0-40 kmph is only 3.2 seconds while it is fast charge compliant too.

The Pro has a range of about 165km which is an IDC range. The Plus has a range of 143km. There are multiple riding modes too but it also gets a custom mode with 100 plus combinations where you can customize range or performance in any which way. Both variants get a 7-inch touchscreen, cruise control, keyless, two-way throttle and follow me home light. There is also an SOS alert feature.

The electric scooter has a new platform including services and an EV eco system where there is a smart fast charging network where you can reserve a charge. There is a portable charger and also a fast charger while you can remove the battery and charge it at your home. The batteries can survive monsoons and have an IP68 rating for the motor too.

The scooter has an aggressive design language with a large LED light set-up. The seat is split and there is a large storage capacity of 26 litres. There is also a buyback offer at a 70 percent value.

The most important bit is the price which is Rs 1.45 lakh for the V1 Plus and the V1 Pro comes in at Rs 1.59 lakh The launch will start in Bengaluru, Delhi and Jaipur with bookings from 10th of October and the booking amount is Rs 2,499 with deliveries from December.

The launch in more cities opens in December. This new electric scooter will compete with the likes of Ather and Ola plus more in the popular electric scooter segment.
