Delhi: Maximum Temperature Drops To 30.7 Deg C, Light Rain Likely Today
The IMD has predicted generally cloudy skies on Monday with light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds speed of around 30 to 40 kilometre per hour.
New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday said the maximum temperature settled at 30.7 degrees Celsius, eight notches below the season’s average, in the national capital, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported. Delhi, as per the IMD, recorded one mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours ending at 8.30 a.m. on Sunday. The IMD said the minimum temperature in the city on Sunday was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average. The relative humidity, as per the news agency, oscillated between 96 percent and 65 percent.
The IMD, which is the principal agency responsible for meteorological observations, weather forecasting and seismology, added light rain may hit the national capital on Monday.

The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius on Monday, while the minimum temperature will be around 24 degrees Celsius.
Earlier on Saturday, the maximum temperature in the city settled at 32.7 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the season’s average.
The minimum in Delhi on Saturday settled at 24.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below average.
The IMD further said thunderstormactivity accompanied by isolated heavy showers likely to continue throughout north, central and east India during the next two to three days.
