Torrentz is back online in a new avatar

NEW DELHI: The largest torrent meta-search engine in the world Torrentz.eu after biddding farewell to millions of its users on Aug. 5 is now back in a new avatar. It made a comeback in the form of torrentz2.eu. The new domain says that "Torrentz2.eu is a clone of Torrentz, a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines." The legal crackdown on torrent sites have been on the upswing and it led to the shutdown of torrentz. Torrentz doesn't t host files itself; it instead acts as a search engine. It was launched on 15 July 2003. It is one of the leading torrenting websites for downloaders worldwide. Though on the main webpage of Torrentz there is a message in the past tense saying “Torrentz was a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines.” If you try to search a torrent on the available search bar, it still displays a goodbye message which says “Torrentz will always love you. Farewell.”
