About ABCD 2

Released in 2015, ABCD 2 (Any Body Can Dance 2) was directed and choreographed by Remo D'Souza. It served as a stand-alone sequel to the 2013 dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.

The movie featured Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sushant Pujari in lead roles. It was partly inspired by the true story of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, founders of the fictional dance crew The Kings, who famously won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego.

The film narrated the journey of childhood friends Suresh and Vinnie, who share a deep passion for dance. Together, they form a dance troupe and tackle several obstacles to compete in a prestigious Las Vegas dance competition.

Varun’s Current Project: Border 2

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is currently filming Border 2 alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and Sunny Deol. The cast is shooting the third schedule at Pune’s National Defence Academy.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh, the film is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films.
