Twinkle Khanna Hits Back At Trolls Over Her Morphed 'Laxmii' Image; Says 'I'm Tempted To Reply'

Hitting back at the troll savagely, Khanna said she was tempted to reply and ‘God clearly likes a good joke or she would not have made you,’ she wrote.

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna who has now established herself as a writer, has given exact retribution to the trolls who morphed a photo of her on the poster of her husband Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Laxmii. Her image was placed on the previous poster of the film which was then called Laxmmi Bomb. The image showed Twinkle Khanna coloured in blue with a big red ‘bindi, drawing comparison to Akshay Kumar’s avatar in the movie. The image read: “Twinkle Bomb.” The troll also called Twinkle Khanna a third class person who makes jokes about God. However, hitting back at the troll savagely, Khanna said she was tempted to reply and ‘God clearly likes a good joke or she would not have made you,’ she wrote. "Trolls are helpful just when I was looking for the image for (my blog) here it is:) Crop rather than repost! One added ’3rd class person. The film has been renamed Laxmii, following suggestion of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The decision was taken by Akshay along with co-producers Shabinaa Khan and Tusshar Kapoor. According to earlier reports, the makers had received a legal notice from the Rajasthan-based outfit, Shri Rajput Karni Sena, claiming that the name Laxmmi Bomb was demeaning towards Goddess Laxmi, adding that the title insulted sentiments. The horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani is a remake of a successful Tamil film, Muni 2: Kanchana.
