He is now in South Africa filming Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, parts 1 and 2. To show his appreciation to his fans for helping make ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ one of the year's most successful Hollywood films, he shared a video of himself skydiving in between scenes.

Just hours ago, Tom Cruise posted a video with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. The video shows the action hero and his crew getting ready for a long-planned stunt in which he would jump from a helicopter off a cliff.

Thanking his fans, he said, “Hey everyone, here we are over stunning South Africa, and we're filming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning parts one and two. I didn't want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theatres, and thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick.”

Christopher McQuarrie, the film's director, touches Tom Cruise on the shoulder to insist the actor take the shot. He can be heard saying, “Hey, listen, we really have got to roll. We've got to get this shot.”
