Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji: Anas Rashid back in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' sequel!

It is a huge news for the fans who were disappointed with the absence of their favorite 'DABH' jodi, 'Sooraj Rathi' Anas Rashid and 'IPS Sandhya Rathi' Deepika Singh from the show's sequel which launched on  3rd April, 2017. The sequel stars new actors in lead playing Sooraj-Sandhya's children.. Rhea Sharma playing daughter 'Kanak', Mayank Arora as son Ved & Kabeer Kumar as another son Vansh. Avinesh Rekhi  is in lead as 'Uma Shankar' playing 'Kanak's love interest/husband.

Other original members like Neelu Vaghela 'Santosh' aka 'Bhabho' and Ashok Lokhande 'Sooraj's father 'Arun Rathi' are still cast in sequel. The latest reports say another actor is set to enter the show and it in none other than Anas Rashid, 'Sooraj' of 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' who will join his original cast in the sequel. If you are wondering how the 'dead' character will be made to appear on the show then it is simple! He will be appearing in the dreams of  his daughter 'Kanak' and will be mentoring her on the show. According to BollywoodLife, Anas will appear in multiple episodes helping 'Kanak' giving her tips to have a smoother married life with 'Uma Shankar'.
