Sandeep Anand does a Govinda act for TV show

Mumbai: Actor Sandeep Anand, who plays Sajan in "May I Come in Madam?", will next be seen as a cook in the popular comedy show. For this part, the actor found inspiration in veteran actor Govinda's role in 1997 film "Hero No.1". For the sequence, Sandeep closely watched the movie to perform his act in a better way. In the film, Govinda turns cook to impress the family of the character essayed by Karisma Kapoor. "I am really fond of Govinda's acting and the way he has done justice to all his characters. When the production informed me about the ‘bawarchi' (cook) look, I immediately thought of Govinda's look in ‘Hero No.1'," Sandeep said in a statement. "Before coming on screen, I watched the movie to understand the character more closely. I am not trying to copy him, but I did take inspiration from his character," he added. "May I Come In Madam?", aired on Life OK, also features Neeha Pendse and Sapna Sikarwar.
