Paritosh Tripathi joins 'Comedy Circus' team

Mumbai: Actor Paritosh Tripathi will be seen spreading laughter with his gags in "Comedy Circus Returns". He is elated about it. The comedy show will be back after five years. "To be a part of 'Comedy Circus...' is like a dream come true. I have been watching this show since I was in college and can't believe that I will be performing here," Paritosh said in a statement to IANS. "When the show was off air for quite some time, I lost all hopes of being on the show and it is said that if you want something desperately, the universe conspires to bring you what you want and now that it's back, I can't be more grateful," he added. Paritosh says he has always wanted to perform in front of Archana Puran Singh and Sohail Khan as they both are really inspiring. "I auditioned earlier to join 'Comedy Circus' after receiving my first payment but for some reason I couldn't perform. This time I have a chance and for me, humour is everything. To bring a smile on someone's face is difficult. Keeping a healthy competition on the show, we believe to make everyone laugh without hurting anyone's sentiments on the show," he added. Produced by Optimystix, "Comedy Circus Returns" will premiere on Sony Entertainment Television soon.
