Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16: Aamir Khan Proves He's Amitabh Bachchan's Biggest Fan, Hands Him 'Wedding Card' From 1973

In the upcoming episode of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16', Aamir Khan will ask Amitabh Bachchan about his marriage date.

New Delhi: Kaun Banega Crorepati, starring Amitabh Bachchan, has been a smash hit with audiences for years and Season 16 is no exception. Just in time for the legendary host's 82nd birthday on October 11, Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan will spring a surprise on him in an upcoming special episode.

Sony Entertainment Television unveiled a new promo on October 3 that has Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan in the hot seats opposite Big B. In the video, Aamir Khan tests Amitabh Bachchan's memory by asking him when he and his wife were married. Aamir asks Amitabh about his wedding date. Bachchan quickly replies, "3 June, 1973."

Aamir then asks for proof. To everyone's amazement, the ‘Lagaan’ actor pulls out the actual invitation card from Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's wedding. He said, “Sir, mere paas saboot hai. Aapki wedding card mere paas hai (Sir, mere paas saboot hai. Aapki wedding card mere paas hai).”

Just as he passes the wedding invitation card to Big B, Aamir says, "Aapke no 1 fan hone ka saboot aapko de diya hai" (I have given you evidence that I am your number 1 fan).

After dating for a while, Jaya and Amitabh tied the knot in 1973. Their invitation card reads, “The marriage of our son Amitabh & Jaya, the daughter of Smt. & Shri Taroon Coomar Bhaduri, was solemnized on Sunday, the 3rd June, 1973 at Bombay. Your blessings are solicited.”

Sharing the promo, they captioned it, "Aamir Khan ne saboot dekar yeh dikha diya ki woh AB ke sabse bade fan hai! Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Mahanyak Ka Janmutsav Special, 11 October raat 9 baje sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par."
