‘Jamai Raja’ actor Adhvik Mahajan to REPLACE Vishal Bhardwaj in ‘Meri Durga’

New Delhi: Star Plus show ‘Meri Durga’ is gearing for a major replacement in the show. Remember popular TV show ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ and its lead actor Adhvik Mahajan, he is coming back on TV with Star Plus. As per the various reports, Adhvik is replacing Vishal Bhardwaj aka Madhav in ‘Meri Durga’. The reason behind this is that Vishal couldn't match the requirements of the character. Confirming his entry in the show, Adhvik replied to TOI “Well, my last show as a leading man was Bani Ishq da Kalma on Colors. After that, I have done a couple of films down south and also a few Hindi films. In fact, one will be releasing in May where I play a leading man. Besides, on TV I did an interesting multi-layered role in Jamai Raja a year ago." Talking about his role in the show, Adhvik said “This role is special for me because it is my first outing as a suave, charming and a typical dashing hero on television. Having said that, there are many twists in the character, which, in a way, is quite new and challenging for me. I am going to really enjoy this one.” In Meri Durga, TV actor Vicky Ahuja aka Yashpal Chaudhary and Ananya Agarwal aka Durga play the lead roles.
