To fit the character of 'Chandragupta Maurya', actor-dancer Faisal Khan is leaving no stone unturned to get the act right.

The popular historical show ‘Chandragupta Maurya’ is all set to witness the 5 year leap where viewers will see Faisal Khan as the charismatic and charming, Chandragupta Maurya. After attaining love and fame from his fans and viewers in and as Maharana Pratap, the young and talented actor is all set to take over the small screen with his strong and impactful performance as Chandragupta Maurya. To fit the character, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to get the act right. He has been learning sword fighting under experienced trainers to refine his skill. A source from the show reveals, “Faisal Khan has already started his prep for the role a month back and he was super excited to play another historical warrior character. Also, he has been asked to grow a stubble and shed some weight for the part and he is working hard to fit the role perfectly.” On the context Faisal Khan shares, “I am super excited playing another strong character like Chandragupta Maurya after essaying an iconic warrior Maharana Pratap. I feel very privileged to receive opportunities where I get to portray such impactful characters at an early stage of my career. Currently, I am learning sword fighting as soon audience will see me entering into the battle field.” In addition, the actor said, “After experiencing horse riding in my previous historical show, I am going through rigorous training for sword fighting. The viewers will see me performing a fencing sequence using swords and cavalry weapons. We got two experts to teach the techniques. A sequence like this needs style and grace and you can't hurry it up or it will not be justified.
