Doctors suspect Pratyusha Banerjee was 2 months pregnant: Sources

New Delhi: Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who was found dead at her suburban residence on Friday under mysterious circumstances, could have been two months pregnant, sources said. According to sources, "Doctors suspected early stages of pregnancy, thus have sent samples of her uterus to JJ Hospital for examination for confirmation." The doctors have found a whitish thick fluid, in the uterus, which indicates early stage of pregnancy, reported Mid-day. "The fluid has been preserved and sent for histopathology tests, to confirm pregnancy and to rule out infection within the uterus," the report stated. Earlier, sources revealed that Pratyusha Banerjee, Rahul Raj Singh and one of their common friends had partied late night and consumed alcohol before the ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame actress allegedly hanged herself to death. In the morning, Singh also went to drop that common female friend to Church. Mumbai police on Saturday summoned television actor Rahul Raj Singh for questioning in connection with the actress’ alleged suicide . Singh’s statement was recorded till late in the evening at Bangurnagar police station.
