However, the popular television couple addressed these speculations at a recent event, dismissing them as baseless gossip. Speaking to ABP News, Vivek called the divorce reports "mere rumours" and revealed how he and Divyanka reacted to the news.
“Bahut maze aa rahe hai. Main aur Divyanka, hum log hass rahe the. Hum log ice cream khate khate soch rahe the ‘aur lamba hoga toh popcorn bhi mangwa lenge’,” Vivek quipped. (Translation: We are having a lot of fun. Divyanka and I were laughing at these rumours. While eating ice cream, we thought if it got any longer, we should order popcorn too.)
Adding further, Vivek shared, "It’s entertaining for us. I saw the reports, Divyanka and I laughed it off. We know how clickbait works. I do YouTube vlogging too, so I get this business model very well. If you post a sensational thumbnail, people will click. But there’s nothing inside. People should avoid giving views to baseless news. It’s fake entertainment."
